The content on Ozaclean, including cleaning tips, DIY recipes and product mentions, is general information provided for educational purposes. You use it at your own risk.

Always follow the label

A product’s label and the manufacturer’s instructions come first, ahead of anything you read on this site. Test any product or homemade cleaner on a small, hidden area before using it on a surface, fabric or appliance, and check your appliance manual and warranty before cleaning it.

Never mix cleaning products

Some combinations release toxic gases. Never mix bleach with ammonia, with acids (such as vinegar or some toilet bowl cleaners) or with rubbing alcohol, and never combine different drain cleaners. Use one product at a time, rinse between products, and keep the room ventilated.

Children, pets and health

Store cleaning products out of reach of children and pets, in their original containers. If you have asthma, allergies or another health condition, ask your doctor before using strong cleaners or fragrances. If someone swallows or inhales a cleaning product, call Poison Control (1-800-222-1222 in the United States) or your local emergency number right away.
